Our Offerings

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Albany County has a wide variety of educational offerings for  residents, businesses and communities. Participants of all ages can learn by:

  • attending seminars, workshops, events or trainings
  • subscribing to one of our newsletters
  • requesting publications and resources on a variety of topics
  • participating in teleconferences and webinars
  • calling to speak with a master gardener, educator or program specialist
    about a specific subject or concern
  • enrolling children in our 4-H Clubs or summer camp
  • volunteering for one of our many educational initiatives

Our association currently maintains the following overarching departments of which a multitude of programs are administered:

As an extension of New York’s land grant university, our local association exists through county, state and federal government partnerships. Programming is designed to meet local needs through grassroots community input and is delivered through a wide variety of outreach methods including: workshops, trainings, publications, teleconferencing
and volunteer opportunities.

Programs are scheduled directly with the speaker. Please arrange at least one month in advance. Some fees may be charged to help offset costs. In the event there is a charge for programs, waivers or scholarships are available to eligible participants. Any honorariums are used to support continued programming.
