warning from the U.S. Surgeon General, social media is a significant
factor in the current mental health crisis among young people.
Adolescents who spend more than three hours a day on social media face
double the risk of anxiety and depression symptoms. Join CCE Albany for
tips and strategies on how to create rules around social media use in
the home. Let’s talk about setting up phone-free zones, when to allow
your youth to have social media, and help them find balance in managing
their time. Develop a better understanding of why social media is so
important to youth and create conversations with them to promote healthy
phone/device use. Let’s make social media use safe for our kids!
