Regional IT Support Specialist | Voorheesville, NY
The Regional IT Support Specialist works as a part of a two-person tech team supporting staff and managers in the Greater Capital Shared Business Network (GC-SBN) region. The Specialist responds to help desk tickets; troubleshoots hardware, software, telecommunications, and network issues; and orders and configures equipment. The Specialist provides basic level IT information, training, and onboarding for staff and performs other IT projects as assigned.


The position serves as the local IT contact for CCE of Albany County and as a backup for the Lead IT Manager, helping to ensure the IT needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This position works out of CCE of Albany County’s Voorheesville, NY office and frequently travels throughout the region including Albany, Columbia/Greene, Fulton/Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington counties.

4-H Youth Educator | Voorheesville, NY

The 4-H Youth Educator delivers science-based programs including healthy lifestyles, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics), environmental awareness and sustainability, natural resources, and garden-based learning. This position works as part of CCE Albany’s 4-H team - recruiting and reaching diverse audiences, performing existing or new responsibilities which can change based on Association needs, new partnerships, grant initiatives, etc. The Educator also performs 4-H data entry, enrollments, reporting, etc.


This position delivers programs throughout the urban, suburban, and rural communities of Albany County, with a strong emphasis on urban programming.

Environmental Health Educator | Voorheesville, NY
The Environmental Health Educator primarily delivers US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Lead Renovation, Repair, & Painting (RRP) Initial and Refresher trainings in counties in and around the greater Capital Region. The educator assists with other environmental health programs as needed or assigned (e.g., radon, mold, indoor air quality, healthy homes, etc.). This position also coordinates assigned trainings including tracking, preparing, and submitting all required documentation for assigned programs.

This position works primarily out of the CCE Albany’s Voorheesville, NY office, but most trainings are conducted throughout the program region. The educator works as part of a flexible team - performing existing or new responsibilities which can change based on Association needs, new grant initiatives, etc.

Regional Agronomy Educator | Hudson Falls, NY
Rooted in every county of the state, Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) translates Cornell University’s world-class research into practical, real-world knowledge that helps New York state residents, businesses, and communities thrive. Serving Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, and Washington Counties, the Capital Area Agricultural and Horticultural Program (CAAHP) provides education for farmers, growers, and producers through workshops, newsletters, and consultations using various delivery methods.

The Regional Agronomy Educator plans, designs, implements, and evaluates educational and applied research agronomy programs. The educator provides highly technical programming to support the field crops industry (both for use as cash crops and as integrated with the dairy industry) and in collaboration with other staff using a multi-disciplinary, integrated approach. The educator helps make connections between farmers, Cornell staff, other agronomy educators, and agricultural service providers, in the four-county region. Working as part of a team, this position assists with the CAAHP advisory structure and develops areas of expertise based on program needs in the region, interests, and abilities.

Qualifications include a master’s degree in a field appropriate to the position (e.g., agronomy) and a minimum of 4 years related experience.
