Fishing can be a fun activity. Fish contain high quality protein,
essential nutrients, healthy fish oils, and are low in saturated fat.
However, some fish from the Hudson River contain chemicals at levels
that may be harmful to your health. Come learn about safe places to fish
in the Capital Region at this online event presented by Cornell
Cooperative Extension. We'll even discuss some great ways to cook fish,
and we'll share some recipes too!
Those who attend will
receive an electronic or paper booklet containing information about
wild-caught fish, how to properly clean and fillet a fish, plus several
tasty recipes.
We'll also be giving away tackle baggies and some fishing guides to attendees to pick up curbside too!
