Join Cornell Cooperative Extension and Wunsapana Farm (https://www.wunsapanafarm.com/) for a Llama Management Workshop! Led by llama expert Teri Conroy, we will enjoy discussion, Q & A, and some hands on experiences! At the workshop Teri will cover various uses for llamas, including pet, fiber, guard, pack, youth, therapy, and show. We will also discuss health and general care, feeding, fencing, housing, shearing and fleece, and where are the best places to find a new llamas for your farm. Our hands-on learning will focus on learning llama body language, haltering and walking llamas, and a grooming, hoof trimming and injection demonstration.
This event is open to 4H members and non-members, as well as adults, but pre-registration is required. Cost of the meeting is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family. Light refreshments will be served!
